NBA legend Dwyane Wade had quite an illustrious career playing for the Miami Heat. Winning three NBA championships and multiple awards, Wade went down as one of the best two guards in NBA history. However, after retiring from the league, the Miami Heat legend has started his own cultural event of wining & dining and is set to bring the party to his hometown soon.

A few days ago, Dwyane Wade hosted a soiree at the Angler restaurant in Los Angeles. The event was filled with food and wine lovers and Wade was also accompanied by his longtime friend, Chris Paul.

Dwyane Wade is bringing the party to his hometown

Dwyane Wade started Wade?s Cellars in 2014 in partnership with Jayson Pahlmeyer, a well-known winemaker and connoisseur. The brand allows people to access various wines along with Wade?s very own Three & Wade Cabernet Sauvignon by Wade Wines.

It is the second year since Dwyane Wade started his ?When We Gather? event. The event features a series of wine and food experiences. As per a post on its official Instagram account, it also highlights the beauty of what it means to embrace diversity and celebrate coming together.

This will be the fifth soiree in Wade?s long list of cities this event will be taking place in. A Chicago native, The Flash is all set to bring this culinary experience to his hometown. The event is set to take place on June 13.

The gathering will be held at Chicago?s Bronzeville Winery. It will be featuring a five-course menu, curated by celebrity chef Lamar J. Moore. It will also have a lineup of special musical guests to serenade the crowd.

How did Wade’s previous event unfold?

Dwyane Wade?s fourth soiree in Los Angeles was a huge hit. Apart from the Phoenix Suns? veteran point guard Chris Paul, LA-based Journalist Baxter Holmes was also in attendance.

Another sommelier and winemaker named Mark Bright was seen smiling for the camera along with Wade. This being Wade?s fifth gathering of the year, that too in his hometown of Chicago, it would not be a surprise to see plenty of his family members in attendance as well.

But the $170 million-rich Wade, being the celebrity that he is, often has movie stars, artists and current or former NBA players at such gatherings too. So, it won?t be a surprise if this turns out to be another star-studded event!
