It all started when the six-time NBA champion’s infamous Chicago Bulls jersey hit the auctions. A game-worn piece from the 1998 NBA Finals, Jordan’s jersey was already set to go for a staggering price. However, no one expected just how far the bidding would rise. The hammer went down at a record?$10.1 million. Sotheby’s, who organized the auction, said the single sale shattered the record for a piece of game-worn sports memorabilia. However, it seems the journey of Michael Jordan memorabilia has only started.

And now, tickets from his first glimpse in the NBA are set to be attached to a big amount. According to TMZ, the pair of tickets are set to fetch?around $300,000 in the upcoming auction.

Coming as a pair, each ticket holds the phrase “Michael Jordan’s first game”. A rare artifact, the tickets will be on the auction block until September 29th, 2022. Likewise, experts are expecting yet another elusive bidding war. However, this isn’t the first time a set of Michael Jordan tickets created an uproar. Just a few months ago, an unused ticket to the five-time MVPs debut game sold for a stunning $468,000.
