Appearing in the Met Gala once again this year, Wade went all black with his outfit. The former Heat who made an appearance with his wife, explained his outfit as he paid homage to a late fashion industry icon.

However, this time, the couple chose some new colors, which has again caught the attention of many. Honoring the late German fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, the Met Gala decided to celebrate his full work and life this year.

Wade explained his costume, mentioning, “First of all just a little homage to the great late [Karl Lagerfeld] …You guys know we always went with a muck, muck neck look. So, we wanted to play a little homage with the gloves as well.”

Representing the world-famous fashion house Prada, the 3-time champion wore a black Panama mohair coat and a black Panama mohair tuxedo trousers along with black leather gloves. In addition, Wade wore dashing black Chelsea boots which were really the cherry-on-top.
