After an altercation with Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Philadelphia 76ers’ backup center Montrezl Harrell was seemingly not done. Harrell also got into an altercation with Giannis’ teammate and brother Thanasis, after the two teams battled it out on the court. The Philadelphia 76ers took down the Milwaukee Bucks 110-102 on the night, and Giannis had arguably one of the worst shooting nights from the free-throw line.

So, in order to get more shots up and practice, Antetokounmpo went back to the court post-game to shoot some free throws. That is when 76ers center Montrezl Harrell took the ball from the ‘Greek Freak’ and told him to leave the court. The two exchanged words and the 76ers staff got involved in it as well, but Antetokounmpo eventually chose to leave.

Montrezl Harrell was ready for all the smoke

After the two-time MVP left, his brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo came onto the floor to have a word with Harrell. And it seemed as if Harrell wasn’t having any of it, as he had some harsh words for the other Antetokounmpo brother.

As more staff stepped in, trying to dissolve the situation, Harrell said, “I’m one of them, you can try to find out my boy. You got me f****d up. I’ll beat your a**.” And this type of behavior just did not sit well with fans.

There is no rule per se that prevents players to come back to the court to get more shots up. And often players who had a bad shooting night or did not get enough playing time often do come back to the court to practice their shots.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 25 points and 14 rebounds in the game. However, he shot only 4-15 from the free-throw line. It was the same case with their win over the Cleveland Cavaliers as well, where he shot 4-11 from the free-throw line.
