NBA legend Dennis Rodman brought joy to fans with several of his vital performances on the court. There is no denying that playing basketball gave Rodman immense joy. But his happiest on-court moment was not because of playing, it was because of the presence of a special someone. On the Jay Shetty Podcast, Dennis Rodman spoke about his happiest memory in basketball. His narration of this gleeful moment left fans and Jay Shetty smiling.?

In 1996, the Chicago Bulls beat the Philadelphia 76ers 116-104 in a regular season game. This win helped the Bulls register their 26th straight victory on home turf. In this game, the anchor of the Chicago Bulls? defense, Dennis Rodman registered his first-ever triple-double.?
Rodman scored 10 points, claimed 21 rebounds, and had 10 assists. He was 34 years old. This made him the oldest player to record a triple-double with the Bulls. This was indeed a historic moment. However, the triple-double was not the sole reason he call it his happiest memory in basketball.
The happiest basketball memory of Dennis Rodman?
Dennis Rodman registered his first and only triple-double against the 76ers while his daughter watched him from the stands. The presence of his first daughter made this his happiest on-court moment. His first daughter, Alexis Rodman was barely 10 years old in 1996. She had come to the arena to watch her father play for the first time.?
On the podcast, Rodman said, ?She was over there cheering, cheering, cheering. That?s the only time one of my kids has ever seen me play basketball, she is the only one.??

Rodman continued to speak about kids and narrated an interaction that made him feel like he was on cloud nine. He was at a store in Palm Springs, California, when a kid walked up to him and pointed at a picture.
The kid asked Rodman if the man in the picture was him. Rodman said, ?I said yeah, that?s kinda cool huh and that made me feel as good as hell right there.??
For Rodman, it is the simple things that make him happy. He states that the most obvious things cause problems. He said, ?The simplest things in the world make you happy. The simplest things in the world that make you money.??

Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman has never shied from being raw and open with his emotions. This was seen once again on the podcast. His daughter cheering for him while he made his first and last triple-double was no competition to the five championships he has under his name.?
