Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman has five NBA championships to his name. In fact, Rodman had a competitive nature like no other. However, it seems like his daughter is not as inspired by him as people would think.

Back in 2021, Trinty Rodman made history by becoming a pro at only 18 years old. After making a name worldwide following her incredible career feat, she talked about her role model. Interestingly enough, it is not her Hall of Fame father.

Rather, her role model is her mother Michelle Moyer. She is the third wife of Dennis Rodman and they filed for divorce shortly after their marriage.

Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons legend Dennis Rodman is one of the finest rebounders and defenders to ever grace the NBA. Apart from his exploits on the court, he had a very eventful personal life. Rodman would often be found at parties and has dated some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

Rodman married Michelle Moyer in 2003 and the two share two children together. Trinity was born to the couple on the 20th of March 2002 and she has lived without her father almost all her life. Dennis Rodman and Michelle officially split in 2012 while officially filing for a divorce in 2004.

During an interview, the soccer sensation talked about how close she is to her mom. Moreover, she addressed her mother as her best friend and also a role model.

She said, “I don’t think people know how close we are and, even though she wasn’t in the NBA, she has an extremely competitive and driven mindset, and she’s an extremely strong woman. She’s my role model.”

Having a dad like I do, no one asks about my mom because she’s obviously not an NBA star, but I just want people to know that my mom’s been my support system in everything in life and she’s my best friend and my rock,” Rodman added.

Unlike many others who play soccer at the college level before going pro, Trinity chose to be different. She went pro before playing a single minute of college football and became the youngest NWSL player to be drafted in January. She was drafted by the Washington Spirits who take part in the NWSL.
