Apparently, Michael Jackson showed up at O’Neal’s doorstep out of nowhere, offering to buy his house. However, the recipient of the Grammy Legend Award had to face disappointment when Shaq refused to sell his property. The former Los Angeles Lakers star revealed this piece of information on an episode of DrinkChamps.?The long chat with the four-time NBA champion was released on October 8, 2022.

Shaquille O’Neal’s Orlando house was listed for sale in 2018 and was sold in 2021. The 31,000 sq. ft. mansion has 12 bedrooms, 11 baths, a luxury pool, home theatre, massive aquarium, and a wine bar, among other attractive features. The property was listed at $28 million, but the price reportedly dropped and was sold for an unrevealed amount.

Furthermore, he added, “He looked around the house, he’s like, ‘I want to buy the house’, and I’m like ‘It’s not for sale.'”

Talking about mansions, Michael Jackson had his very own private amusement part complete with a zoo and a Ferris wheel. The King of Pop bought the Neverland Ranch in 1987 situated in Los Olivos, California. MJ reportedly paid $19.5 million for the estate. The name of the estate was inspired from Peter Pan, where the titular character wished to never grow up, an idea that MJ liked.
