Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been in the news recently for all the unfortunate reasons. An old picture captured a 14-year-old Jones attending an anti-desegregation rally. Jones’ involvement has been questioned by celebrities and public figures across the world. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James famously questioned the media about the Jones issue recently.
James brought up the issue following a win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Not only did James confront the media regarding the issue, but he also brought up their handling of the Kyrie Irving controversy that gripped the NBA world a few weeks ago.

Talking about James’ boldness, millionaire media analyst Stephen A. Smith had a lot to say. Interestingly enough, he lauded James for his boldness despite revealing his fondness for Jerry Jones some time ago.
Stephen A. Smith lauds LeBron James for bold comments
Four-time NBA champion LeBron James is more than just one of the greatest NBA players ever. He is a successful businessman and never fails to comment on socio-political issues pertaining to the current situation around the world.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones found himself in trouble recently. An old picture from 1957 showed him being involved in an anti-desegregation rally. This sent shockwaves across the world.
Talking on his talk show, Stephen A. Smith revealed his fondness for Jones while sympathizing with his situation. He said, “I’m very very fond of Jerry Jones.”

Recently, following James’ comments on Jones, Smith was nothing but praises for King James. Smith said, “I can’t applaud LeBron enough for what he said.” He further added, “What LeBron was talking about was where’s the intensity?”
Following an impressive win over the Portland Trail Blazers, LeBron brought up this issue with the media. Interestingly enough, he questioned the media about the disparity in their coverage of the Kyrie Irving and Jerry Jones issue.

What did James say about the Jerry Jones controversy?
LeBron James is known for talking his heart out on controversial topics. The same can be said about this instance. Confronting the media, he said, “I was thinking when I was on my way over here, I was wondering why I haven’t gotten a question from you guys about the Jerry Jones photo.”

He also brought up the media’s hypocrisy as they continuously kept on asking questions about Kyrie Irving. The former NBA champion was suspended after he posted a link to a highly controversial anti-semitic film on his Twitter account.
