Michael Jordan‘s youngest son, Marcus Jordan, 32, has been making headlines ever since he was spotted in public with Scottie Pippen‘s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen. After making their relationship public, Larsa and Marcus have made several public appearances and are frequently seen on each other’s social media posts. However, it seems like Larsa has to ‘stand back’ after Marcus’ grandmother and Michael Jordan’s mother, Deloris Jordan’s stern declaration.

It has been revealed that the couple have received Jordan’s blessings. As it turns out, Larsa being the ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen wasn’t a problem in getting the approval of His Airness. Although MJ approves of their relationship, she was forced to “stand back” after 81-year-old Deloris’ 6-word remark to Marcus.

Deloris Jordan makes a stern 6-word declaration

Deloris Jordan is MJ’s mother and has been an anchor in his life. Right from the beginning of his career, both of Michael’s parents were always there to support their son. After Jordan’s father was murdered in 1993, his mother became even closer to him. The 6x NBA Champion has always shown the utmost respect and admiration for her, which means that she indeed is the leader of the family. This stands true as per the new video posted by Marcus on his Instagram.

Even with the approval of the great Michael Jordan, Larsa Pippen was made to stand back as Marcus Jordan and Deloris Jordan shared a beautiful moment together. In the video, Marcus can be heard saying to his grandmother, “This is my date”. The Jordan family was at a party, all dressed up. Replying to Marcus, his grandmother said, “I am your girlfriend tonight, Marcus“.

“All other women can stand back,“?she proclaimed.

The GOAT gave his blessings to his son’s relationship

Larsa Pippen and Scottie Pippen got divorced in 2021, ending their marriage of 24 years. Now that Jordan’s ex-teammate’s, ex-wife is dating his son, the question arises whether Jordan approves of their relationship or not. Earlier this month, Larsa Pippen revealed that the couple indeed have Jordan’s blessings. She said, “Everyone is fine. When you’re an adult, your parents want to see you happy. Yeah, I feel like we’re great.“

“I feel like…we’ve spent holidays together, and it’s good. We’re in a great place”, she added. Larsa and Marcus are often seen together and are handling the all the public attention well.
