Joel Embiid acknowledges his remarkable feat by recalling his tweet from 2014

An athlete’s mentality is what gives wings to their skillset. The 2023 MVP recently reminded people that this award may be new, but he saw it coming almost a decade ago. Embiid quoted his tweet from back in August of 2014 after the 2023 MVP was announced. In his 2014’s tweet, he wrote “MVP rankings in a couple years”, showing himself above the likes of LeBron James and the late great Kobe Bryant. Quoting that tweet, Embiid wrote yesterday “SPOKE IT INTO EXISTENCE.”

Driven by his vision for the future, Embiid has achieved what he set out to. As admirers of his work on the hardwood, we only wish to witness his brilliance for many more years to come.
