Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are the names on everyone’s lips currently. After all, they have confirmed their relationship status after months of speculation and denial. The couple has received quite a lot of flak all the while they were rumored to be dating. That is because Larsa is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen while Marcus is the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan. MJ and Pippen played together for the Chicago Bulls for quite some time and were pivotal in leading them to six NBA titles.

Recently, Larsa Pippen made an appearance on the second installment of the Real Housewives of Miami reunion. She talked about Marcus and also his father, Michael Jordan. During one of the segments of the popular show, the 48-year-old made a major revelation that might disappoint Scottie Pippen.

Larsa Pippen makes a huge Michael Jordan claim

Larsa Marie Younan married Pippen in 1997 when the latter was one of the biggest basketball stars in the world. After years of marriage and four children, they filed for a divorce in 2016 which was finalized in 2021. Although she was married to Pippen for more than two decades, it seems Larsa is ready to part with the famous surname.

Recently, she revealed that she might change her last name to Jordan if everything goes well between her and Marcus Jordan. “I would definitely change my last name for whomever I married, that’s for sure”, said Larsa on the Real Housewives of Miami reunion.

Interestingly, she revealed why she still keeps the Pippen surname a few weeks ago. According to Larsa, she has been a Pippen for around two decades. The only way she ever changes her last name is if she remarries.

Things are going well between Marcus and Larsa, as of now. The couple is currently on the road enjoying some time off together. Larsa Pippen recently posted a series of snaps from her vacation with Marcus.

Larsa doesn’t want to address any Jordan questions

During her appearance on The Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa was also asked about Michael Jordan while addressing her new boyfriend. However, she refrained from speaking about the Chicago Bulls legend.

She said, “I mean, I don’t really want to talk about — I want to talk about Marcus and I.” Interestingly, it seems that the Jordan and Pippen family are not as close as everyone presumes. Larsa confirmed that she got acquainted with Marcus Jordan just a few years ago.
