In an appearance on Boardroom, Durant shared his opinion that the contest would be more exciting if more star players participated, specifically mentioning Zion Williamson and Ja Morant. Durant’s comments about the contest were as follows: “Who else is in it, Mac McClung? That’s crazy they’re doing that. I think he’s been on a show, but what are we doing? Why don’t we have guys who are willing? It used to be sacred to be a part of All-Star Weekend.”
