Leave it to Charles Barkley to make commentary on NBA players. Apart from being an analyst on the ‘NBA on TNT’ show, he has always been vocal about his beliefs. Earlier this month, he had expressed his disappointment at Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson. He has since moved on to another player, one from the Los Angeles Lakers.

“Anthony Davis has disappointed everybody”, said Charles Barkley. He believes that Davis had the potential to be the best player in the league by now. It looks like Barkley is unimpressed with the center’s performances. And it is not the first time he has publicly roasted Anthony Davis.

However, NBA fans criticized Barkley for having a negative lens. One fan wrote, “Charles Barkley is such a hater man”. Another wrote, “Do me a favor. Shut the f*** up”.

Barkley recently slammed Klay Thompson for not being the “same player” he once was. While Stephen Curry defended his teammate, and so did NBA analyst Kenny Smith. Klay Thompson even revealed that he was hurt by Barkley’s comments. He said that despite his multiple injuries, he helped the Golden State Warriors win a championship.

His controversial remarks against Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons also did not sit well with the NBA world. Barkley trolled Simmons for wearing a big jacket, as he came to face his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Charles Barkley, a former player of the 76ers himself, said Ben Simmons had a “bulletproof vest”, as Simmons walked to the arena.

His recent claim against Anthony Davis has not aged well. Davis has been playing well recently, and despite LeBron James‘ absence, the Los Angeles Lakers have done considerably better than perhaps expected, even though they have a 6-11 record so far.
