In a recent GQ interview, Barkley’s favorite restaurant Tomaso’s manager Tony Hamati gave an insight into how he got to meet with Madonna. The renowned chef revealed that Charles Barkley introduced him to Madonna at his restaurant in May 1993. After the dinner, several media outlets offered Hamati thousands of dollars to talk about Madonna and Barkley’s visit to his restaurant on TV. But the manager denied all such requests.

However, media outlets started to dig deeper into Madonna’s rumored relationship with Barkley after a comment during an interview. During the Q&A round with the Mademoiselle magazine, Madonna asked her friend and co-star Rosie O’Donnell who would she pick between Denzel Washington, Damon Wayans, and Charles Barkley to father her child.
