He’s also an Olympic gold medalist and was part of the famed 1992 Dream team. Barkley has also had several all-star selections in the past. Even after having one of the most successful careers in NBA history, Barkley recently made a massive revelation on how he was scolded by an NBA legend for having too many cars.

Charles Barkley has signed many multi-million dollar deals in his career. Be it NBA contracts or other endorsement deals. According to reports, his net worth is around a staggering $70 million.

Charles Barkley, who is famous for his time at the Phoenix Suns, has also featured for other NBA teams. Barkley was the fifth NBA draft pick by the Philadelphia 76ers. He recently appeared on the Steam Room podcast and explained how NBA legend Julius Erving has had a massive influence on his life choices.

He said, “I never had more than one car. I did have a few cars at a time but Doctor J made me take them back. Told me ‘Son, don’t be an idiot. You can only drive one car at a time. I was like, ‘Ok. Good point.'”

Charles Barkley explained how Julius Erving made him realize that having more than one car is a waste of resources. Dr.J won the NBA championship ring in 1983. He was one of the most influential players of his era and was known for his flawless scoring abilities. He has scored more than 30,000 combined points in his ABA and NBA career. People often think of him as ‘Jordan before Jordan’. It was heartening to see the legend positively impacting a young Barkley’s life.
