Hostility towards other players is a type of strategy that often works. It is mostly done in order to rile up the players to throw them off their game. Often this hostility is packed as an opinion coming from someone else. How the other player is going to take it makes all the difference. The 4x NBA All-Star received some harsh criticism from Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies.
