And even though the league could make a decision now, Silver also mentioned that they will be going along with the NBPA and announcing the verdict after the NBA Finals – smart move by the commissioner so as to not draw away attention from the main event of the league.

Adam Silver also said regarding Ja Morant, “I don’t think we yet know what it will take to change his behavior.” He emphasized the need for ‘creating better circumstances’ around Morant going forward.
