The Milwaukee Bucks are on an absolute roll as of late, winning nine of their last 10 games of the season. With a 36-17 record, the Bucks are in second place in the Eastern Conference, just behind the Boston Celtics. For this, a lot of the credit goes to their superstar forward, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The ‘Greek Freak’ has been doing it all on the offensive and defensive end of the floor. If that weren’t enough to make fans smile, what Antetokounmpo did after their win against the Miami Heat recently will surely melt one’s heart. 

The Bucks took down the Heat 123-115. As Antetokounmpo was heading to the locker room, he came across a young fan in the tunnel. The kid challenged Antetokounmpo to a game of rock-paper-scissors.

The ‘Greek Freak’ wins the hearts of fans once again

Antetokounmpo ended up losing the game with the kid and gifted him with something that the young fan will remember for the rest of his life. The six-time All-Star took off his game-worn sneakers and decided to hand them over to the young Bucks fan.

Not only did Antetokounmpo give him his sneakers but also made sure to sign them for him. The Bucks superstar uploaded the whole ordeal on his official Twitter account. He captioned the video, “He got me,” with laughing emojis at the end.

Fans were absolutely moved by the two-time NBA MVP’s gesture. One fan tweeted, “That’s amazing you made that kids night. I don’t think there are many that would do that.” While another fan commented, “Such a down to earth guy!”

The big center has been nearly unstoppable for the past few weeks. He posted a 54-point night against the Los Angeles Clippers just before the game against Miami, which was only one point shy from tying his career-high of 55 points.

If the Bucks can keep this pace up, it won’t take them much time to surpass the Boston Celtics for the first spot in the Eastern Conference table. Moreover, the higher their chances to make a deep playoff run and possibly win another championship for the city of Milwaukee.

Antetokounmpo has been leading his team in points, rebounds, field goal percentage, and minutes played per game. There is no doubt that the Bucks not only have a superstar on their hands but also a legend who is beloved by NBA fans.
