Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars has shaken the internet. Among many celebrities all over the world and in the NBA, Draymond Green also reacted to the whole incident and context of it.

Draymond is very active socially and has often addressed whatever goes around with his guests on his show. When Dray was on the sidelines with the injury this season, he had talked about many things and, as always, he has addressed the whole incident and his take on it. Many sports personalities from the NFL and NBA reacted to the breaking altercation.

The episode of The Draymond Green Show in which Dray is going to talk about the infamous slap gate incident will be released on Wednesday, March 30th on The Volume Sports. However, we did get a sneak peek into what Dray thinks about it.

A joke from Chris Rock on Jada Smith, wife of Will Smith, did not sit well with Jada. Despite letting the joke go and laughing at it at first. Will realized that it had hurt his wife and then he decided to go and slap Chris Rock on the stage. This was what happened in Dray’s understanding.

“I 100% do not condone violence. But I 100% feel where Will Smith was coming from.” Draymond Green expressed that he understood the pain Jada must have gone through after discovering her disorder of Alopecia. However, not many fans agreed with this take from Dray.
