The core of the Warriors has always been Curry, Green, and Klay Thompson. Curry and Klay are excellent shooters and Green is a floor general. Their contributions in their title-winning run in unparalleled. But like any team, they do have some arguments and they express themselves on the court. One such incident happened in the 2016 playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Warriors had the greatest regular season in 2016. They won 73 games out of a possible 82 and broke several records. And their star Stephen Curry had one of the greatest seasons ever. Curry was the first ever unanimous MVP and broke the record for most three-pointers in a season as he made 402 of those shots.

Draymond Green called out Stephen Curry for taking too many bad shots

In the first round of the playoffs, Curry got injured and had to miss a few games. He came in the semis against Portland. Curry was having a tough time getting back, and he was trying to get his feet under him. But this resulted in him being inefficient and this pissed off Green.

Andre Iguodala, who has been with them for 6 out of those 8 years, explains how Green reacted to this. He says,” Draymond started getting Draymond’ Hey man, it’s the Warriors. This is the Steph Curry show but it ain?t just the Steph Curry show. It?s the Warriors.”

Curry responded emphatically to Green

Iggy tried to calm Green down, but he wasn’t having any of it and he said that everyone working hard on the team. Iggy says that Curry took another shot and Green was livid. So when Curry asked who he was yelling at, Iggy adds,” Man, you took a bad shot. And he looked at me (Curry) he was like’ and I’m gonna shoot it again”

Green would have been so mad after he said this and one can only imagine the conversation they had. But in the end, all worked out, as Curry got his feet back and exploded in the series. And they have never looked back since then.
