The Golden State Warriors are coming in with a purpose this season. They took the NBA by shock with their entrance and are continuing their run. Their blend of offense and defense has propelled them to one of the best records in the league so far. However, one of their premier players didn’t think they would be this good coming into the season.
The Bay is one of the biggest contenders in the NBA at the moment. They have served as a threat to every opponent they have faced so far. Be it the best or not, the Warriors have come up on top almost every time. They have had some unlikely heroes step up while their stars continue to dazzle with their display.

However, their leader on the court, Draymond Green still seems to be surprised with how good they really are.

Draymond Green did not expect the Warriors to be this good
While speaking to the media, Green expressed his surprise at the Warriors’ entrance into the season. He explained how he did not expect the Bay to be this good this early into the campaign. He has a good reason to justify this. While there were expectations for them to be in the race, not many could predict this kind of dominance.
Green explained saying: “I didn’t know we’d be this good. I think we are a damn good team, and I didn’t think we’d be this good, and especially this fast. Now in saying that, we have a long way to go. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s not the first team to 30 wins or anything like that. It’s who can consistently get better, night in and night out, day in and day out, so that when April, May, and June come around you put yourself in the best position to win a championship.”

The Bay has come out swinging this season. Stephen Curry had issued a warning when he said no team would want to see them this season and it is showing up. With a record of 29-7, they are one of the best teams in the NBA. Moreover, they are yet to see Klay Thompson and James Wiseman play a minute. Hence, their depth is truly impressive.
