Long-time lovers Draymond Green and Hazel Renee finally tied the knot in a star-studded wedding. And Green along with his Golden State Warriors had a great time at the wedding. The past season and the offseason have been a celebration for the Warriors stars and their fans. And the celebratory mood continued its way to the wedding. The wedding, however, not just had Warriors stars. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, and Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum among others attended the wedding as well.

Rapper Jonathan Lyndale Kirk also known as DaBaby performed at the wedding. And it looked like Draymond Green and Hazel Renee had a great time. Draymond Green and Hazel Renee have known each other for a long time. Even before Green made his mark in the NBA. The two went to Michigan State University where they first met. Renee was a track and field athlete while Green was a basketball star.

The ‘Empire’ star said that they were in the same theater class. And that they inclined towards each other for group projects because they knew each other. However, they were just friends at the time. Then Green joined the Warriors and Renee focussed on her acting career.

Years later, the two would reunite and go on a first date in Los Angeles. She said that they went to a rooftop and hung out at the cabana all day. And that it is still one of their favorite things to do together. She added that it was a long time since they met each other so they talked and caught up. And said that it was casual, and they were best friends. Now the best friends are happily married.

The Golden State Warriors selected Draymond Green as the 35th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. He worked hard with a chip on his shoulder and wanted to prove everyone that didn’t believe in him wrong. With his passing, defense, and leadership qualities, Green became an integral part of the Warriors team. And he helped them win 4 NBA titles in 8 years alongside, Curry, Klay Thompson, and others.
