Celebrity model Khloe Kardashian has dated some of the biggest names in the NBA in the past. In fact, she was married to former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom. Moreover, following their split, she dated former NBA champion Tristan Thompson for a while before calling it quits. Additionally, she was also in a relationship with former Houston Rockets superstar James Harden. Although short-lived, Odom and Kardashian’s relationship was full of controversies. 

During their marriage, Odom was addicted to drugs which hampered their relationship. In a new documentary surrounding the life of Odom, the two-time NBA champion gets candid about his addictions.

Lamar Odom reveals candid details about marriage with Khloe Kardashian

Odom and Khloe Kardashian met at a party organized by Metta Sandiford-Artest and tied the knot after a month in 2009. The former NBA star’s problems with addiction and reported infidelity caused their marriage to come to an end. Kardashian filed for a divorce in 2013 and it was finalized in 2016. Over the years, Odom has talked very honestly about his problems which led to the eventual divorce.

In his latest documentary “TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians”, the former Laker opened up on his problems with addictions. Odom said, “Drugs, that was my girlfriend. I had a wife … and cocaine. I mean, behind the scenes I put her through some sh*t. The things that y’all think y’all know is crazy. But the stories that y’all don’t know is really crazy.”

Apart from his addictions, Odom was also involved in a lot of cheating scandals. Interestingly, despite all their issues, Khloe Kardashian once saved her former husband’s life.

Kardashian helped Odom during an overdose

Khloe had filed for a divorce in 2013, four years after her marriage with the former NBA champion. However, she still saved his life in 2015 when Odom suffered from an overdose.

Kardashian found her former husband in a Nevada Brothel and helped him recover from an overdose that almost cost him his life. Odom went into a coma after this horrific experience and he was shifted to a Las Vegas hospital.
