Shaquille O’Neal is known for his friendly tussles with co-hosts on the TNT floor. Before the Los Angeles Lakers icon turned into an analyst, however, he was quite the prankster in his own right. Many of Shaq’s pranks and jokes still live on to this day, with one of them mooning a former Lakers cheerleader, Paula Abdul.
Shaq and Paula Abdul were neighbors for a brief period of time during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, with the big man having moved into the house suggested by the Laker girl. When Shaq decided to take the moral high ground in the recent episode of his podcast, the past came back to haunt the prankster.

Shaquille O’Neal had a habit of stripping down in locker rooms to rise a laugh out of his teammates. The big man was known to throw grand parties and the habit was not just limited to the locker room. Shaq once mooned an entire party at his residence, including Paula Abdul.
Abdul had previously recounted one of Shaq’s pranks, stating, “But see I knew what happens at midnight. So right before the clock struck midnight I ran under the dining room table because what he does is he moons people and puts his butt on your head.” She, however, expressed that it was great being a neighbor with Shaq and added that they were good friends.

In the most recent episode of The Big Podcast With Shaq, the co-hosts and Shaquille O’Neal got into a discussion of ideal neighborly conduct. Co-host Nischelle Turner mentioned how she is been getting bothered by one of her neighbors who is not keeping their house well-maintained.
Shaq was quick to take the moral high ground, only to get reminded of his crazy antics from back in the day. Shaq said, “You need to stop worrying about all the other stuff and worry about your own property.”

He even went on to add, “Stuff you can’t control, you shouldn’t worry about. Takes up your brain space.” Turner was quick to bring up how Paula Abdul had also stated that Shaq would give people tickets and act like the neighborhood police, often going overboard with his pranks.
As Nischelle Turner tried to turn the tables on Shaquille O’Neal, the big man was quick was tell her that Paula Abdul acted the same way. He even added that Abdul would often come to Shaq with her problems, causing him to step in and act on them.

Shaq’s actions, which border on questionable conduct, were telling of his time with the Lakers and the life of an NBA star in Los Angeles.
