Draymond Green might just escape suspension after apologizing to fellow teammate Jordan Poole after his physical altercation with the latter during training camp recently. The Golden Stae player left the training facilities and is not expected to be back until Saturday. The team’s general manager Bob Myers said that they have not disciplined the veteran player yet, and he is not expected to miss any games. This has left many fans in a tizzy as they were expecting some form of punishment for Green but for now, he escapes unscathed.
“These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens. Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room. …As far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally,” GM Myers said.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Draymond Green reportedly punched Jordan Poole during Wednesday’s practice session. It started with both of them trash-talking and shoving each other. This led to Green punching the 23-year-old.
Bob Myers said that Green doesn’t like being in these spots and that Wednesday was not a good spot for him. The manager was confident that he would get the respect of his teammates back. He also confirmed that recent contract negotiations played no part in this altercation and didn’t observe any change in mannerisms before this fight.
Coach Steve Kerr also rubbished reports about Jordan Poole having any attitude issues. Myers also felt that the “vibe” he felt during pre-season and the training camp was “the best” in his tenure.
Nonetheless, fans were having none of it. Here are some of the reactions on NBA Twitter:
So….he won't be disciplined. Dude making like 20 mill for averaging a Triple Single. Money won't hurt.

Of course it's Draymond Green. He'll probably get fined and have to run cardio. Lowered play minutes temporarily. That kind of stuff https://t.co/rKFZElUKLs
