He said, “I don’t know a lot of the young guys. So he is one of the guys who stood out to me because when I look at Evan Mobley, I see Chris Bosh. I see Toronto Raptors Chris Bosh, but a right hand. Just the way he plays the game, the way he can take you inside and outside.” Wade continued singing praises and said, “Man, it is good to see this kid be a part of helping this team win. He’s not just there to fill up the stat sheet.”

Mobley is a modern-day big man and is playing his part for Cleveland. He is putting up 14.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game in his rookie season. Like Bosh, Mobley can shoot the ball and also attack the rim with ease. His size and production all point towards a young Chris Bosh who made a serious impact on the Raptors in his early years.

Mobley has helped elevate the offense on the Cavaliers. Moreover, because of his ability to play inside, the Cavaliers rely a lot on their seven-footers. With 3 bigs in their lineup, Darius Garland does a perfect job in utilizing all of them, and the three big men play a huge role in slowing down the smaller guards on the defensive end.
