Dwyane Wade calls out Shaquille O’Neal

While the Miami Heat has been absolutely sensational this season, they don’t receive their due credit. The Brooklyn Nets on the other hand were dubbed as clear favorites to dominate their conference but currently take the 4th place.

While talking on the NBA on TNT show, Dwyane Wade decided to confront Shaq regarding his former team. As the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Brooklyn Nets, the show panel consisting of Shaq and Wade discussed the problems with the Lakers and Nets.

Shaq mentioned, “You can’t judge either of the teams (LA Lakers and Brooklyn Nets) because they are not at full strength. When we talk about Brooklyn especially, at the beginning of the year they had the ‘Big Three’, now they got one guy out there.”

Wade intervened, “Wait Shaq. What does that mean? We can’t judge them because they are not at full strength. The Miami Heat ain’t at their full strength all year, and they are first place. So what does that mean ?

DWade seemed to be frustrated with how everyone overlooks the Heat as he lashed out at Shaquille O’Neal. His praise for his former team is absolutely on point, the Heat have played only 12 matches with all their top stars in the lineup.

Owing to their injuries, the Heat have had to field the most number of undrafted players compared to other teams. While the franchise heads were hoping for a big season from the Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry trio, Adebayo and Butler have missed a total of 42 games combined.

Tyler Herro leads the team with the best points average. He averages 20.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.0 assists this season. Jimmy Butler follows Herro in second place. He averages 21.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists. The two have been instrumental for the Heat, with the team missing Bam Adebayo. (Source: ESPN)
