One of the greatest coaches in the history of basketball just had his last dance. With the UNC Tar Heels getting past the Duke Blue Devils, it marked the end of the remarkable career of Coach K. Moreover, after the match, he gave his thoughts regarding the match.

Talking to the media after the loss, Coach K talked about the emotions he felt during the match and how much it meant to him. Furthermore, he reflected on the loss and how his team played good basketball, but the other team did the same, which eventually led to their loss.

The fans were treated to one of the most heated rivalries recently. The UNC Tar Heels took on the Duke Blue Devils in the Final Four of the March Madness tournament. Furthermore, this is Mike Krzyzewski’s final season with Duke.

However, it ended in heartbreak for all the Duke supporters. UNC got the better of Duke and advanced to the finals of March Madness. Talking about the match, Krzyzewski said, ” For me, my entire time coaching, I always wanted at the end of the year, whatever the last game is, you are either crying for joy or you are crying for sorrow.”

He added, “If you are, it means you have put everything into it. I have a bunch of kids who are crying. I am proud of them and they have been a joy to coach and they’ve played winning basketball and they did tonight, but so did the other team.”

In what happened to be the last game in Coach K’s career, UNC got the better of their arch-rivals. Led by a dominant performance by Caleb love, UNC beat Duke 81-77. Love posted 28 points, 1 assist, and 4 rebounds for the night. From the Duke roster, Paolo Banchero got 20 points, 2 assists, and 10 rebounds. (Source: ESPN)

With this win, the Tar Heels advance to the finals of March Madness. They face Kansas in the finals who beat Vilanova to get to the finals.
