Amid the exciting contest between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies, a 13-year-old Lakers fan emerged as a laughingstock. It has been a longstanding tradition in NBA games to entertain the fans during the breaks. The excited fans display their dancing moves, outfits, and sometimes even their balling skills on the court. However, things went downhill for a young fan after his antics on the court led to embarrassment. Following the act, fans flooded the social media comments, destroying the young boy with hilarious reactions. 

The Lakers displayed a dominating performance, crushing the Memphis Grizzlies in LA to advance to the Semis. The team carried a 30-point lead against the Grizzlies almost throughout the game and ended up winning by a whopping 40 points! Despite the Lakers’ smoking hot run, one of the team’s fans humiliated himself with his antics during a timeout.

Young Lakers fan’s hilarious act

During one of the timeouts in the first half of the Friday night game, the Lakers hosted a shooting contest for a young fan named Cooper. The game host instructed Cooper to drop 10 points from the 3-point line within 30 seconds to win the game. Notably, the youngster grabbed the audience’s attention when he responded, “I am born ready” to the host’s inquiry. Moreover, Cooper didn’t attempt a single shot until the last two seconds. Instead, the 13-year-old looked around the arena and hyped the audience.

Cooper failed to live up to his own hype as he missed the only shot he took. After the shot, the crowd erupted with loud boos. Following the act, the clip surfaced on Twitter, garnering hilarious reactions from fans. One user said, “The epitome of every entitled, douchey, worthless Laker fan.”

Despite the hilarious act on the court, the Lakers had something bigger to cheer about, as the LA team qualified for the Conference Semifinals. The team produced a thumping victory amid the brewing rivalry between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks.

The Lakers will either face the Golden State Warriors or the Sacramento Kings in the Semifinals. Game 7 between the Warriors and Kings on Sunday will decide the road ahead for the LA side.
