One of the leading video game developers is looking to spice things up as they look to incorporate some of the hype from the NBA playoffs. This $60 billion worth franchise will be introducing 12x All-Star Kevin Durant into their game to give fans another reason to play. However, only days after signing a major contract with a billion-dollar shoe brand, fans displayed no mercy on the news of the major collaboration, brutally trolling Durant on social media.

Kevin Durant recently signed a lifetime contract with Nike to join some of the biggest names in basketball. But given that his team is trailing 0-2 to the Denver Nuggets, the esports giant that included KD in their game has led fans to troll his various drawbacks.

One of Activision Blizzard’s best-selling games, Call Of Duty has been a big hit among gamers. The company makes a big chunk of its revenue from the Call Of Duty franchise itself as they keep rolling out new updates.

The latest news from the Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor states that Kevin Durant will be a playable character in the new season of Call Of Duty. The video game franchise has various editions of the game that fans are used to.

One of the most popular editions of COD is Warzone. Call Of Duty: Warzone has been a huge hit among gamers for being free for all and being based on the popular battle royale type of gameplay.

However, instead of being excited over the news, fans decided to troll him instead. Durant’s team, the Phoenix Suns are currently trailing 0-2 to the Denver Nuggets. Therefore, this news was not taken in the best of spirits by the NBA community.

Fans brutally troll KD on social media

Kevin Durant being a playable character in the new season of COD would’ve been a hit if his team were not lagging in their current playoff series. However, since Durant and the Suns are struggling to win games, fans did not show any mercy either.

One fan tweeted, “He’s down 0-2 inna series do you trust him in the battlefield.”

While another fan commented, “I played a couple rounds with him but we kept coming in 4th so he left and joined the winning team.”

Fans were brutal in the comments section, making fun of his injuries and how KD switched teams in the past. Let’s see if these comments drive Durant to even out the series in games 3 & 4.
