The NBA trade deadline stirred things up around the league for multiple teams. After the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks blockbuster trade, the Nets also traded away Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns. However, one trade that had fans lose their mind was the Los Angeles Clippers trading away John Wall, that too to the Houston Rockets. This was after Wall had called out the Rockets franchise which led to fans going berserk on social media.

The Los Angeles Clippers became a part of a three-team trade with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Houston Rockets. The trade involved sending John Wall back to the Rockets in exchange for Eric Gordon, while the Grizzlies receive Luke Kennard.

Will it work for Wall this time with the Rockets?

The Houston Rockets are dead last in the Western Conference with a 13-42 overall season record.

Furthermore, the last time around, Wall had James Harden playing alongside him, whereas now he’ll be a veteran on a team with young guns around him. Though the Rockets have an incredibly bright future with some of their players, it is still unsure how Wall fits into the picture.
