Twitterati reacts to a video of Russell Westbrook

The news of Russell Westbrook’s possible trade surfaced after it was known that Westbrook was in conflicts with LeBron James, and Anthony Davis. Furthermore, the team’s performance in the previous season proved how ill-fitted the three players were. Westbrook had reportedly refused to change his game style to be in sync with his teammates.

A video of the NBA player practicing with his teammates has surfaced on Twitter. In the one-and-half-minute long video, Westbrook can be seen practicing his jump shot.

Evidently, the Twitterati have made their opinion known on the clip that was shot in the gym. Let’s take a look at a few of the tweets.

The trade was supposedly going to be either with the Pacers or the Jazz. However, it would mean that the Lakers may have to give up the 2027 and 2029, first-round draft picks. According to The Athletic, the Lakers are unlikely to trade Westbrook but the decision would also depend on the Lakers’ performance during the training camps and the preseason. Additionally, the Lakers have signed Dennis Schroder, and Westbrook’s rival, Patrick Beverley. Amidst the ongoing news regarding Westbrook, Warriors player, Draymond Green, commented on the matter on the Checc’n-In Podcast.

Green said, “I one hundred percent think the fit is terrible. I don’t think you could talk to Russell Westbrook right now and [he] wouldn’t think the fit is terrible. Nonetheless, just because the fit is terrible don’t mean you don’t go for it. Because guess what, if you go for it and it works, then you got a championship.”
