The first game of the 2022 NBA Finals was everything the fans expected it to be. The Golden State Warriors started strong, Boston fought back in the second quarter and led the game at the half by two points. The Warriors then went on a 48-24 run. And it looked like they were gonna run away with the game. But everything was going to change in the fourth quarter.

The Celtics dominated the Warriors in the fourth quarter and went on a 40-16 run. This is the biggest differential in the fourth quarter of the NBA Finals. At the post-game press conference, Warriors star Draymond Green and Klay Thompson echoed similar thoughts. They said, “It’s first to four, not first to one.” The fans, though, did not like the statements and had varied reactions.
Everyone says the same shit after loosing

Warriors lost a game that they should of won. A game where Tatum didn't have a good game. If I'm the Warriors I'm worried. This series is over. Boston will win this in 6 games, if not 5.

This was their best offense of their entire season and lost. They’re mentally done

Who "should" retire first? Green or Iguodala?

They better start to finish in game two…Don’t just say it, show it!

Indeed. But first to one does make it easier to get to 4

They both sucked. Not a surprise they say the same thing. Draymond was horrific and Klay got roasted by Brown.

A game of two halves for the Warriors
The way the Warriors had started the game and especially Steph Curry, nobody could have imagined the Warriors would lose by double digits. Steph had twenty-one points in the first quarter alone, but he cooled off aggressively to finish with 34 points.

Boston had major contributions from Al Horford and Derrick White were major factors in the Celtic’s victory. Jaylen Brown led the scoring for the Celtics with 26 points. And to imagine Boston won this game with Jayson Tatum having an off night should be a little worrying for the Warriors.

Nobody for the Warriors apart from Steph could muster a consistent office for the Warriors. Draymond, Kevon and Jordon Poole all had single-digit scores for the Warriors. Boston’s bench also dominated the game and their big men made a lot of difference in defense for them.

What’s next for Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors
The next game for the Warriors is an all-important game for them. They will have to win that game to even out the series. Because if they don’t they will fall behind 2-0 in the NBA Finals with the next two games at TD Garden.

While Klay and Jordon Poole will also look to make a comeback in terms of scoring, Jayson Tatum will also try to do the same thing for the Celtics. This series has the potential to be an all-time series but a lot will hinge on the result of game two. Let us know in the comments below your predictions for Game 2.
