Charles Barkley retells the story of Deuce Vaughn and Chris Vaughn of the Dallas Cowboys

In the 2023 NFL drafts, the league and its fans witnessed a very special moment. Deuce, a 21-year-old running back, was on the verge of getting his dreams fulfilled. However, it took him a bit longer, which often creates unbearable anxiety. The draft went through several rounds, and Deuce was yet to hear his name being called. Although he waited, with no better option, his time finally arrived in the sixth round. The cherry on top of this remarkable moment was that his father Chris got to make that special call to his son. Chris also works as a college scout for the Dallas Cowboys.
