Even though there are a lot of controversies surrounding Michael Jordan’s first marriage to ex-wife Juanita, there were times when they were so in love. In an old interview, Juanita talked about how she met MJ and cleared the air regarding some rumors that were spreading about their first meeting.

In the interview, Juanita discussed rumors of her stepping in front of a car to attract Michael. She talked about how they actually met for the first time. When they started talking, when they first started dating, and finally got married to each other.

The interviewer asked her about the rumor, and she replied, “I heard that one too.” She then explained briefly about their first meeting.

Juanita, who was looking for an associate’s degree when they first met, was a loan officer from the Southside of Chicago at that time. Upon their first meeting in Chicago at Bennigans, Jordan was at the height of his career. It was after a Bulls game in 1985.

The couple met several times at events and parties before they started dating. Juanita mentioned that she and Jordan met through mutual friends. In those days, they were madly in love, and we saw her supporting Jordan in many games.

As soon as they met each other, they started dating until 1989 and then decided to get married. While Jordan was recognized as the best in the league in each game, they had a lot of fun helping each other and growing together.

Even though their time together ended because of back-and-forth controversies, it was beautiful to watch them together for a while. There are a lot of reasons behind their divorce, but they have always supported each other through their actions.

Despite the many rumors surrounding their relationship and marriage, the time they spent together was beautiful. Juanita has never been intimidated by the wealth and fame Jordan enjoyed.
