“Jordan Is Really the Basketball Zeus”: Fans Go Gaga As Luka Doncic Joins Elite Record of Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain in NBA Playoffs
Follow Us
Luka Doncic may be down two games in the Western Conference Finals but he has balled out in these playoffs. In fact, he has torched everyone he has faced in these playoffs and has joined some elite company. He became only the third player to reach 800 points in his first 25 playoff games, joining Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan. However, more than Luka’s amazing run, fans are mesmerised by what Michael Jordan was able to achieve.
Luka in his most recent outing had 42 points on 12 of 23 shooting and 5-10 from the three-point range. What’s the most amazing part of this, is that he doesn’t take a lot of bad shots. No matter who is defending him in the playoffs, Luka always plays at his own pace. Let it be Kawhi Leonard, Mikal Bridges, Paul George or Draymond Green, he doesn’t change the way he plays. And he is an outstanding passer and if you double him, he will always make the right pass at the right time.

“Miami Are Done”:Heartbreak for Heat Fans As Jimmy Butler Gets Sidelined Mid-Game With Knee Injury vs Jayson Tatum’s Celtics
Explanation for why Jordan is #1: for the first few seasons he was in the playoffs, he was all the Bulls had…he scored a lot of points bc that was their best chance to win. But, when Jackson was elevated to head coach & Pippen, etc., arrived, he didn't need to score that many.

The Mavs need to step up or this series is over
Game 1 was a blowout, and the Mavs knew they had to respond. And they came out fighting from the start. They had a 19-point lead in the game. Luka and Jalen Brunson were cooking. But the Warriors are different from the Jazz and the Suns in one aspect – they have been champions before and they have a superior playoff experience.

They used it to claw their way back. First, they locked the Mavs up defensively to cut the lead to single digits. Then they exploded in the final quarter on the offensive end, to put this game to bed.
But one thing we have learned is that the Mavs always make the right adjustments. Their coach, Jason Kidd, will definitely have something up his sleeve as the series now moves to Dallas for the next two games.
