NBA superstar Kawhi Leonard has had a few injury-ridden seasons so far. After helping the Toronto Raptors win their first-ever title against the Golden State Warriors with superstars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson, Leonard’s value soared. He then signed with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2019. This gave the Clippers fans major hope in their dreams of winning a ring. However, The Claw’s time with the Clippers has been marred with injury setbacks. With this, Leonard has not been able to lead the team to the promised land so far.
The fans are now not happy with the injury layoffs of the five-time NBA all-star. Anthony Davis is another player who receives a lot of stick from basketball analysts and fans for his injury issues. Recently, fans compared Davis with Leonard.

The fans argued Kawhi Leonard does not receive the same amount of criticism for his injury issues from analysts because of his superstar status. Leonard’s injury struggles continued this season as well. He has only played 23 games of the 48 games played by the Los Angeles Clippers. However, he has been performing at a high level recently. When his impressive scoring from the last six games was shared on Twitter, the fans were skeptical. Many fans claimed his run won’t continue because he could be injured again. Here are some reactions:

The fans were clearly not impressed with the absence of the two-time DPOY in the past few seasons. They were not ready to believe Leonard could be healthy throughout the current NBA season, given his history with injuries. Recently, fans had a similar reaction even after a good game from him recently as well.
