The Golden State Warriors have announced their comeback in the best way this season. Despite being without sharpshooter Klay Thompson, they have lost just once so far. Going off on a 6 game win streak, the Warriors put it on the line as they took on the Chicago Bulls. For them, Stephen Curry went off and registered a historic night.

Like the Bay, the Chicago Bulls also started off the season with a bang. With their newly assembled team, they’ve quickly come up as one of the best teams in the NBA. Led by Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan, they have a record of 8-3 so far. Hence, the November 12 game at Chase Center was the battle of the top dogs.

But while these two teams battled it out, the ‘Baby Face Assassin’ went to work and etched his name into the history book. Fans took right to him giving him the biggest praise.

Stephen Curry surpasses Ray Allen

Ray Allen was on top of the all-time three-pointers in the NBA so far. But it was only about time that Steph could take over. Likewise, while in the second quarter against the Bulls, Curry launched a three to make history. Heading into the game, he needed three from beyond the arc to make the record his own.

However, this record is inclusive of the playoff pointers as well. But with the way Curry is playing, it won’t be long till Curry takes over the regular season as well. Going off for almost 300 made threes per season, there is no doubt Curry will be on top by the end of the season.

This doesn’t come as a surprise as the two time MVP led a three-point revolution. Curry is the reason for the ongoing three-point era in the NBA. The 33-YO 3x NBA Champion holds almost every record possible from long range. Hence, him being on top is meant to be.

Stephen Curry is on point against the Bulls right now tallying 34 points at the beginning of Q4. While he hasn’t shot the ball well (as per his standards) this season, he is playing at an MVP level once again, leading the Warriors to the top of the West.

If he continues this form, do you think Curry can take the Bay to the finals and win his first finals MVP? Let us know in the comments below.
