The year 2019 was a great year for Kyle Lowry. The point guard took his team, the Toronto Raptors to an NBA championship, defeating Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant’s Golden State Warriors. Curry and Durant were on the verge of creating history and almost completed a three-peat. However, Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry led the Raptors to stop their drastic run and bring the Raptors their first-ever NBA championship.

The Golden State Warriors were struggling through injuries at that time. Klay Thompson tore his ACL, and soon after KD got an Achilles injury. A Stephen Curry-led Warriors was not enough to beat the Raptors.
