LeBron James has been the face of the NBA for nearly 2 decades now. The Akron Hammer made his debut back in 2003, and he cemented his place as the Icon a few years after that. Also he has been featured in every NBA promo since his debut. But now something unprecedented happened when the NBA released their promo for the playoffs.

For the first time in years, LeBron has not been featured in an NBA promo. The NBA released the promo yesterday, and it featured legends, players, and artists. But with the Lakers struggling and their place in the playoffs not guaranteed, LeBron was not included in the promo. The league featured Joel Embiid, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, Darius Garland, and many legends from the past era, but there was no sign of LeBron. The only thing which could be associated with LeBron is the chalk throw that Ben Stiller does at the end.

How the Lakers have struggled?

When the Lakers made the trade for Russell Westbrook, they never would have thought in their wildest dreams that they would be in this position now.
