Along these lines, Warriors’ returnee Andre Iguodala recently made a bold claim about estranged Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving. As Iguodala ranked point guards over the years, his statement drew widespread flak from NBA fans around the world. So what exactly did the 37-year-old say?

During the course of his long career, Andre Iguodala has seen some of the best guards on display. He has even been up close and personal with one of the best in Stephen Curry. Thus, he knows what it takes to be a great guard, and recognizes talent when he sees it.

Playing as a guard-forward, Iguodala currently averages 11.5 points in his career. When asked about the best PGs in the history of the sport, ‘Iggy’ made a questionable claim regarding Kyrie Irving.

Iguodala, who played opposite Kyrie in multiple clutch encounters, recently stated that the Aussie-born legend is the 4th best PG ever. “Magic, Steph, Isiah Thomas. They’re the only guys that I will allow you to say are better than Kyrie,” demanded the veteran Warrior.
