The Brooklyn Nets lost a very close neck-to-neck battle in their latest matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite the Nets being short-handed without their leading scorer on the floor, the Brooklyn squad managed to put up one hell of a fight with many players stepping up to the occasion. An injured Kevin Durant, however, got drawn into a roast session as he could clearly be seen suffering from FOMO while his team took on their conference rivals.

The Philadelphia 76ers just managed to defeat the Brooklyn Nets in a 137-133 win. Even after big performances from players like Kyrie Irving, Seth Curry, and Nicolas Claxton; Joel Embiid and the rest of the 76ers squad turned out to be too much for the Nets in the end.

During the third quarter of the game, Joel Embiid converted an and-one while getting fouled by Joe Harris on a post layup. Embiid not only converted that shot but decided to give the fans an extra flair with his celebration, which seemingly did not sit well with Kevin Durant.

Joel Embiid brought back a blast from the past, celebrating his and-one with the famous D-Generation X (Triple-H & Shawn Michaels) move on the court. KD went to Twitter to voice his displeasure with Embiid’s choice of celebration on the floor, reigniting their old feud when these two teams last met.

It was clear that not only was Kevin Durant unhappy with Joel Embiid’s celebration, but was also missing out on the 76ers matchup. The fact that the Nets only lost by a four-point margin without Durant in the lineup does say a lot.
