The Los Angeles Lakers are not having the best season so far. With multiple losses and no guarantee for the playoffs, the team is struggling to find its pace. Their most recent loss was against the Toronto Raptors, which left LeBron James visibly upset.
Though James’ performance has been praised, the team is yet to secure multiple wins in a row. Furthermore, with Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, and James on the same team, fans too expected a better outcome.
Now, following another loss, James seems to have his own reaction. As a result, fans had their reactions ready to go.

After their 114-103 loss, few expected James to refuse to talk to the media.
Fans, in return, joked about James being gone after this year. While the 37-year-old is at the tail-end of his career, no one expects James to retire or walk away next season itself.

Many people added that the Lakers‘ record was getting somewhat ridiculous. After all, their last two wins resulted from explosive 50-plus-point performances from James.
Furthermore, with Anthony Davis sidelined, the team continues to struggle. Some fans believe that even if the Lakers reach the playoffs, only a defeat awaits them in Round 1. James’ performance on the court was also brought up, fans pointing out that the losses are getting to him.

On one hand, certain fans agreed with James and his behavior. With the loss being tough, Lakers fans stated they understood James’ reaction. “Can’t remember the last time I saw him this pissed,” wrote one fan. They added James is dropping 30 points every other game, and constant losses must be weighing down on him.

How well did James play vs. the Raptors?
Despite a 30-point finish from James, the Lakers ended up losing the game. Westbrook was the only other starter who scored in double digits, the team failing to match the Raptors’ pace. Gary Trent Jr and Pascal Siakam led the Raptors.
James’ disappointment was also visible during the game when the Lakers missed a rebound. The four-time NBA Champion can be heard yelling ‘come on, man’ at his teammates, while also aggressively slamming the ball.

That being said, the team will face the Minnesota Timberwolves for their next game. Considering their recent losses, a win might help lift the spirits a little. James, who is averaging 29.7 points per game, will continue to lead the team and seek a victory. The result of his refusal to speak, however, remains unknown.
