Every player has people in their lives who guide and support them to achieve success. These people are mostly their parents. Without their support, succeeding can often be a far-fetched dream for the players. From taking them to gyms to practice to talk to them about the game, they are there at every step.

Just like any other parent, even Stephen Curry’s parents were with him all the time. Being so experienced in the sport, who better than them could help Curry improve his game?
Parents are not Stephen Curry’s coaches
Being Sonya and Dell, you must think they might have had a free hand on coaching Stephen and Seth Curry and improving their game. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. Sonya and Dell said on the raising fame podcast that at the start of every season, all the parents were called and told the same things every year. This used to be very frustrating for Sonya. She said, “I violated each one of those rules.”

Watching their sons play was enough for Sonya to not do anything. Talking to them after the game and yelling at them for the offensive plays were some of the things Sonya did. On the other hand, Dell was calm and didn’t interfere much in the kid’s game. Now, this would get on Sonya’s nerves, and she would yell at Dell, saying, “How can you not say anything?”.

Well, look how the training worked out for both the groups- Steph, Seth, and the parents. Stephen Curry does what he does- win games and championships and the Currys do what they do-celebrate.
Are parents of Stephen Curry getting divorced?
Everyone knew Currys as the most ideal family that one could find. With lots of love between the parents-Dell and Sonya and their sons turned out to be so successful with happy families. But it all changed last summer when Sonya and Dell filed for divorce. With the Divorce happening, it has sure been hard for the Curry family.
