Marlon Wayans shared insights about the limited edition lace-less Air Jordan pairs and expressed his regret on missing out on owning a pair. Subsequently, the hosts informed the actor that Will Smith, who owns a pair of these shoes, received them as a special edition for his show Bel-Air. Wayan said, “My special is about him and Chris and Jada, so I’m definitely not getting a pair. So we just two asked out N_ sitting on that show….”

The veteran actor dismissed the option of buying the pair of Jordans because Will Smith already has them. He further added, “I think they’re gonna actually replace me on Bel Air like they did on Viv.” Incidentally, the character of Aunt Viv was recast after the actor who played the role had a feud with Will Smith. Wayan joked about a similar outcome for himself after his remarks on Smith.

Wayans also commented about the evolving sneaker culture and spoke about the importance of creativity and innovation in the business world. The ability of talent associated with a brand to benefit more from the business aspect is a positive trend, according to Wayans. He sees himself as a pioneer in the game and believes that his own experiences can be valuable to others in the industry.

He acknowledged the success of artists like Rihanna and LeBron James, who have created their own brands and businesses within the sneaker industry.
