He once made a plan which was designed to keep the kids at his own house.

The Orlando Magic drafted Shaq number one overall in the 1992 NBA draft. After a couple of years at the Magic, Shaq decided to buy a house. And this was a huge house which was worth $3 million and it was over 25000 sq. ft.

I tell all kids, listen man, just make sure you always listen and respect your parents, and follow your dreams. So when I first bought it, it was 25000 ft, $3 million. I started having babies.”
