After much anticipation, Air was finally accessible to fans when it hit the screens on April 5. Before deciding on a theatrical release, it was previously screened at SXSW where the film received a standing ovation. Following its release, the movie has gained positive reviews and compliments, especially on the direction.

The five-time NBA champion was among the first ones to publicly give his thoughts on Air and it prompted him to declare Michael Jordan the ultimate GOAT.

The NBA legend took to Twitter to share that he had watched Air and vouched for it, calling it an “excellent movie”. Additionally, he mentioned Viola Davis, Matt Damon, Chris Tucker, and Ben Affleck, and commended them for their “superb performances”.

Furthermore, in a follow-up tweet, Magic wrote, “What a powerful movie about Michael Jordan, the greatest player of all time! #AIRMovie”
