Following $600 Million Drop in Net Worth, Kanye West’s Rare Michael Jordan Collab Could Fetch 7 Figures in a Sale

Controversial rapper Kanye West has been taking hits from all around the world. His recent antisemitic comments have landed him in trouble and this has cost him dearly. His net worth has dropped by a staggering $600 million. Amidst this massive loss, Ye has put up very rare Michael Jordan shoes for sale which could fetch him up to seven figures.

West has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons recently. It started over a month ago at the Paris fashion week. And his comments on various platforms attracted a ton of negative attraction. Several social media platforms limited his accounts. But he continued to go on several shows and made several antisemitic comments. He even taunted Adidas to cut their partnership with him.

As a result of this, Adidas did end up cutting ties. They put a statement cutting all ties with him and putting an end to one of their most successful partnerships ever. And several other companies have followed.

Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga, which also had a partnership with West, cut ties with him. After that, it was GAP which did the same. And several other companies had either condemned West or cut ties with him.

Amidst all this turmoil, West has decided to put up rare shoes for sale. In collaboration with Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan, West was supposed to release the Air Jordan 6 ‘Donda’. The shoes were put up for sale for $3.5 million.

The rare shoes had a layered floral design and lyrics from Ye’s song ‘Roses‘ And it has the name of his later mother inscribed on them. The sneakers were designed to pay tribute to the biggest inspiration in West’s life.

The shoes were never released and with Adidas cutting its partnership with West, it is highly unlikely it will ever be released. But Air Jordan shoes have been highly collectible and extremely valuable over the years. And despite West being in a negative spotlight now, these shoes could still fetch him a huge price.
