The Golden State Warriors dynasty took a hit today! In the last decade, the Warriors had one of the most successful runs in the history of basketball, where they were even compared with MJ’s Chicago Bulls at times. All credits must go to the 4-time champions Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and coach Steve Kerr. However, this combination wouldn’t have been possible without a manager.

Finding a suitable talent is not everyone’s cup of tea. However, a 48-year-old core member of the Warriors did it with ease. Following a shocking decision from him, 2-time MVP Stephen Curry decided to bid him a farewell.

The Golden State Warriors made some crucial additions to their main roster. Especially to their bench, which benefitted them in most of their playoff runs. The man behind all these key additions was none other than Bob Myers, who joined the team in 2011. The Warriors were expected to make some important moves this off-season, however, with Myers’s departure, the future stands in doubt.

Myers made some important additions to the roster in 2021. Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, and a few bench players were added to the team which helped the Warriors big time for their fourth title. Now that Myers is stepping down, the Warriors might miss out on a beneficial change next season. However, Stephen Curry did not want to miss this opportunity to credit the veteran.

The three-point leader shared in his story“Before the trophies and memories over this run, I remember I told you, ‘You better get it right!’ and you did.” Curry added, “The GM role was great, and you did your thing, but forever grateful for you as a friend forever. Changed each other’s lives!” and posted a few memorable pictures with Myers.
