Former Cavaliers Teammate Believes LeBron James ‘Has the Best Work Ethic Besides Kobe Bryant’

There is no doubt that LeBron James has an outstanding work ethic. It is one of the key facets that has kept him active in the sport for close to two decades. Even at the age of 36, James is one of the fittest athletes in the league, and right up there with the best of the best. Several players have lauded the former NBA champion for his immense work ethic over the years. And former Cavaliers teammate Deron Williams is no different.

LeBron James and Deron Williams played together with Cleveland for a year. Aside from this, the duo was part of successful team USA setups as well. Thus, they pretty much know each other in and out. A 3-time All-star, Williams was considered a very intelligent playmaker during his prime playing days. On the other hand, he opined that his knowledge of the game was a meager amount in comparison to the ‘King’. Here’s what he had to say.

“It was great. I mean, I had played with LeBron in 2 Olympics, so of course, I knew him and what he brought to the table. It was great. When I talk about work ethics, besides Kobe being around him in the Olympics, LeBron has the best work ethic that I’ve been around. His basketball mind is unbelievable. I consider myself a pretty smart human when it comes to the game of basketball, but his mind works differently,” laid out Williams on ‘Showtime Basketball.
